Xiaomi Poco F9 Pro is an upcoming premium smartphone designed to deliver flagship-level performance, advanced photography, and high-end multimedia features. It combines a powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset with a high-refresh-rate AMOLED display, making it a strong option for demanding users, gamers, and content creators.
The phone features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 1156 x 2510-pixel resolution and an impressive 185Hz refresh rate. It supports HDR10+, HDR Vivid, and Dolby Vision, while peak brightness is rated at up to 4500 nits. Corning Gorilla Glass 7i provides additional protection against everyday scratches and impacts.
Performance comes from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset built on a 3nm process. Its octa-core CPU reaches up to 4.6GHz and works alongside the Adreno 840 GPU. The device is expected to offer 12GB RAM with 256GB or 512GB of UFS 4.1 internal storage. There is no microSD card slot for further expansion.
For photography, the Poco F9 Pro is equipped with a triple rear camera setup featuring a 200MP primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto camera with 2.5x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide camera. A 32MP front camera handles selfies and video calls. Rear video recording supports up to 4K at 60fps, along with high-frame-rate slow-motion recording.
The smartphone is powered by a 6330mAh Li-Po battery with 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. It also supports reverse wired and wireless charging. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, OTG, and infrared.
The Poco F9 Pro also features stereo speakers with a dedicated woofer and Bose tuning. An ultrasonic under-display fingerprint sensor, IP68/IP69 protection, and Android 16 with HyperOS 3 further enhance the overall package.
The Xiaomi Poco F9 Pro is expected to launch on December 31, 2026, with an expected Pakistan price of around Rs. 194,999.
