ZTE nubia RedMagic 12 Pro Plus Geekbench Reveals 16GB RAM and Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6

The upcoming ZTE nubia RedMagic 12 Pro Plus has appeared on Geekbench ahead of its official launch, revealing important details about its processor, RAM and software. The benchmark listing shows that the new gaming-focused smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset and was tested with 16GB of RAM.

RedMagic 12 Pro Plus Geekbench Scores

According to the Geekbench 7.1.0 listing, the RedMagic 12 Pro Plus achieved a 3,354 single-core score and an 11,448 multi-core score.

The benchmark was performed on a prototype carrying the model number NX819J. The results provide an early look at the performance of the upcoming gaming smartphone.

Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 Chipset

The Geekbench listing identifies the phone’s chipset as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6. The platform is listed under the chipset code QTI SM8975.

The chipset is based on a 2nm manufacturing process and features an octa-core CPU configuration with a reported maximum clock speed of up to 5.01GHz.

The processor is particularly important for the RedMagic 12 Pro Plus because the phone is designed around sustained gaming performance and thermal management.

16GB RAM and Android 17

The Geekbench prototype comes with 16GB of physical RAM. This confirms the memory configuration used by the tested prototype, but it does not mean that 16GB will be the only RAM option when the phone launches.

RedMagic has confirmed that the RedMagic 12 Pro Plus will launch on October 15, 2026, in China.
