Apple iPhone 18 ( Apple )
Apple iPhone 18 is expected to be the next-generation standard iPhone, bringing Apple’s latest hardware and software improvements to a more affordable model than the Pro lineup. Unlike previous generations, Apple is reportedly planning to change its launch schedule, with the standard iPhone 18 expected to arrive in spring 2027 rather than alongside the Pro models in September 2026.
The iPhone 18 is expected to feature a 6.3-inch LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR support, and Dolby Vision. The display should provide smooth animations, excellent contrast, high brightness, and accurate colors for multimedia and everyday use.
Performance is expected to be powered by Apple’s A20 chipset, potentially manufactured using a more advanced 2nm process. A hexa-core CPU and Apple GPU should provide strong performance for gaming, multitasking, photography, and demanding applications. The phone is expected to offer 12GB RAM with 256GB and 512GB storage options, although final configurations remain unconfirmed.
For photography, the iPhone 18 is expected to use a dual rear camera system, featuring a 48MP main camera and a 48MP ultrawide camera. A 24MP front camera is also rumored. Video capabilities are expected to include 4K recording, high-frame-rate recording, HDR, Dolby Vision, and Apple’s Cinematic Mode.
Connectivity is expected to include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, GPS, and USB Type-C. Apple is also expected to retain Face ID, stereo speakers, MagSafe wireless charging, and IP68 water and dust resistance.
The iPhone 18 is expected to use a non-removable Li-Ion battery with fast wired charging and wireless charging through MagSafe and Qi2. Its exact battery capacity, dimensions, weight, colors, and official price have not yet been confirmed.
Overall, the iPhone 18 is expected to combine Apple’s next-generation processor, high-refresh-rate OLED display, improved cameras, modern connectivity, and iOS 27 into a premium mainstream smartphone. However, all specifications should be considered rumored or expected until Apple officially announces the device.
